Abuse & Misconduct Prevention
These documents contain abuse and misconduct prevention policies and standards for Cheer Company Brands. The intention of these documents is to clearly define our procedural standards and set clear expectations on the culture of Cheer Company Brands. Participants and their guardians, coaches, and adults associated with the Cheer Company Brands must read and accept these Policies.
As part of CheerCo’s emphasis on safety and athlete protection We have entered into a partnership with the U.S. Center for SafeSport -- which is federally authorized to provide training for the aforementioned purpose -- in order to offer and give consistent training related to the prevention of child abuse to: (1) adult members who are in regular contact with amateur athletes who are minors, (2) non-member adults -- including guardians -- who are in regular contact with amateur athletes who are minors, (3) members who are minors -- subject to parental consent.
All adults listed on member accounts are required to complete the required SafeSport Training.

This policy is designed specifically for the protection of participants. As part of Cheer Company Brands’ emphasis on safety and athlete protection, communications involving any participant, and especially our minor participants, should be appropriate, productive, transparent and observable.

This policy establishes how Cheer Company Brands, its subsidiary companies, insurers, directors, officers, employees, staff, volunteers, agents, successors and assigns (collectively referred to as the “Company”) will prevent the physical, emotional, and sexual abuse of children and youth by its employees. Cheer Company Brands seeks to create a welcoming and nurturing environment and has zero tolerance for those whose actions may jeopardize the safety, health or innocence of a minor.
