Junior FUNdamentals I

Surge is a true entry level class created for individuals — from ages twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years old — that want to discover all-star cheer in a fun, non-competitive, technique centered atmosphere.

The class curriculum builds upon what was learned on Gravity and prepares young athletes for more competitive, performance-based routines by introducing the following:

• Jump Skills;

• Building Skills (i.e. stunts and pyramids);

• Choreography and Transitions; and

• Conditioning

Participants will also take part in a fun activity at the end of each class.

As athletes master the skills in FUNdamentals I they then can progress to FUNdamentals II. No experience is required to join this class and there is no try-out or evaluation process. New participants may enroll at any time (provided that there are openings available).
